The almond is a deciduous tree, developing four in the top, with a trunk of as much as 30 cm (12 in) in diameter. The younger twigs are green at first, turning into purplish wherein exposed to daylight, then gray of their 2nd 12 months. The leaves are three–five inches long with a serrated margin and a  cm (1 in) petiole. The vegetation is white to pale red, three diameters with five petals, produced singly or in pairs and appearing before the leaves in early spring.Almond grows exceptional in Mediterranean climates with warm, dry summers and moderate, wet winters. The surest temperature for his or her growth is between (fifty-nine and  the tree buds have a chilling requirement of three hundred to six hundred hours beneath  forty-five to interrupt dormancy

Almonds start bearing a financial crop within the 0.33 year after planting. Trees reach complete bearing 5 to 6 years after planting. The fruit matures inside the autumn, 7–eight months after flowering
